Michigan - Detroit Model Railroad Club website
Detroit, MI - Welcome to the Detroit Model Railroad Club website. The club was established in 1935 and is currently located in the old theater in historic downtown Holly, Michigan. The club’s O scale layout depicts the fictitious Detroit Union Railroad, a freelance double-track line running from Detroit to Dorrance, Michigan, with continuing single track and branchline service to Keatington, Millersburg, and beyond. Narrow-gage tracks interchange at Millersburg and serve customers up in the mountain region.

Michigan - Rails on Wheels
Saline, MI - Rails on Wheels was formed in 1988 by a group of model railroaders interested in constructing, displaying and operating a high-performance HO scale model railroad. At the time, only one of the members had the space available for a permanent layout, so we each began to build small, portable sections that could be joined together, incorporating the specifications that would eventually become the Rails on Wheels Module Standards. This layout was usually stored dismantled between public showings.
