Indiana - Hi-Rail Modular Train Club
Griffith, IN - A Hi Rail Modular Train Club. Running scale equipment. The Hi-Rail Modular Train Club is a non-for-profit organization that was established in 2002. Our members are train enthusiasts who enjoy the realistic look of Hi-Rail ‘O’ scale railroad equipment and structures. With each member’s module and equipment, we create a realistic layout.
The layout measures 30 feet by 60 feet, with three main lines of Gargraves tracks, with Ross switches. The three main lines feature 120", 128", and 138" curves, to run the largest of engines. The layout is powered by a MTH Z4000 transformer, which supports MTH's DCS and Lionel's TMCC and Legacy systems.
Our club members enjoy putting on public shows and demonstrations in the South Suburban Chicago and Northwest Indiana areas.

Indiana - Maumee Valley Railroad Club
Harlan, IN - Five men who wanted to build interlocking modules to promote their love of model railroading founded the Maumee Valley Railroad club in the early 1990’s. For a time the club had a display in the former South Town Mall. The club has been seen at many events in the area including the club sponsored bi-annual swap meet, NMRA division 3 meet, the Great American Train show, the annual Train Fest at Science Central, and in 1999 attended the Muddy River Run. Over the years the modular display has changed, but the clubs mission and goals have remained the same.
