Arizona - Arizona Model Railroading Society Open link in new window
Glendale, AZ - Arizona Model Railroading Society (AMRS). We are located in north Phoenix in the Adobe Mountain Desert Railroad Park which is located in the Maricopa County Adobe Dam Regional Park.

AMRS encourages and promotes all aspects of the hobby of model railroading for anyone interested, regardless of skill level or experience.

AMRS is structured in four scale divisions: N scale, HO scale, O scale and Large scale (G), with members active in more than one division. The HO scale and N scale layouts are housed in a 3,000 square foot building. Work on the HO and N scale division layouts is an ongoing process. The O scale layout is outdoors. There are two G scale has two layouts adjacent to one another and are outdoors.

Arizona - Gilbert Model Railroad Club (GMRC) Open link in new window
Gilbert, AZ - GMRC is a club of railroad enthusiasts who are modeling (HO Scale) middle Arizona during the mid 50's era.Our layout is located in the basement of the Gilbert Historical Museum and includes part of the Southern Pacific and the Santa Fe railroads serving Arizona.

Key focus areas include Gilbert, AZ and the surrounding area; Phoenix rail yards, passenger service and notable industries; Arizona mines serviced by the Southern Pacific and other surrounding communities including, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, etc.

The club hosts operating sessions on the third Tuesday of the month. Additionally, there is an automated display with the trains running through the town of Gilbert as the key diorama.
