California - Black Diamond Lines Model Railroad Club
Antioch, CA - The Black Diamond Lines Model Railroad Club began back in July 1981 as a group of model railroaders who gathered in the back of a local Antioch, California hobby shop. Later that year, we decided to make things official and we were incorporated as a not-for-profit organization.
Thirty five years later, the Black Diamond Lines is in great shape, an operating HO Scale Empire. While the layout appears on the surface to be completed, there are many projects underway, as everyone knows...A model railroad is never done!
Black Diamond Lines Model Railroad Club meets every Tuesday and Friday from 7:00 pm until around 9:00 p.m. Interested visitors are always welcome! We officially open our doors to the public twice a year.

California - Carquinez Model Railroad Society
Carquinez, CA - The Carquinez Model Railroad Society is a nonprofit 501 C3 organization that is incorporated under the laws of the state of California. The club originated in Vallejo in 1976 in the Solano County Fairgrounds. Due to the County Fairgrounds Association desire to redevelop the fairgrounds in 2004, without providing space for the club, it began to search for a new home. In May of 2005, the club signed a five year lease with the new landlord, The Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The Vallejo layout was demolished and the name was changed to “Carquinez Model Railroad Society”.
The club’s new home was originally build in 1897 as a two story building including the main hall on the second floor which houses the layout. Due to the IOOF’s success, an addition of the rear half of the second floor & a third floor was added in 1927. This addition explains the unique door locations. The layout room is 36 feet by 60 plus an additional room that houses the south helix. There is a total of 2,330 sq feet of layout space. In 2004 the IOOF discontinued operations in the building. In 2011 the club purchased the building from the IOOF

California - Corona Model Railroad Society
Corona, CA - The Corona Model Railroad Society was created to represent 1940's Corona in the heyday of its citrus production. But not only its agriculture. The lumber, mining, manufacturing and all the trackside industries engaged in trade from other communities to other countries. This is the story of how Corona became what it is today, and the railroad's major role during the past.
An entire house, which sets on the park property, is devoted to the 600 sq. ft. display. The model railroad is fully operational depicting a part of Corona and local points east with the Santa Fe main line and the Pacific Electric system.
