Illinois - Blackhawk Model Railroad Club
Oregon, Il - The Blackhawk Model Railroad Club is made up of a group of modelers who are trying to promote model railroading in and around Oregon, Illinois. We initially started by building individual modules to complete the railroad scene, but we have now progressed to assembling a permanent model railroad with all participants involved in all phases of its construction. We are located at Conover Square in oregon, Illinois and we meet every Tuesday at 6:30 PM. If you are interested in joining our group, you are invited to come to our meetings or ask one of our members for details.

Illinois - Lake Shore Model Railroad Association
Chicago, IL - The Lake Shore Model Railroad Association is the result of a half dozen newly discharged GI’s meeting in the rear of a hobby shop on east 79th street in Chicago. By the end of the summer of 1946 we had found a 20x20 foot room in the wood shop of the calumet park field house. We wrote a constitution and within two years had incorporated as a non-profit organization under Illinois law
In 1996 we celebrated our 50th anniversary in model railroading and are one of the oldest continuously operating clubs in the greater Chicagoland area. We currently have three types of membership that are open to anyone.
