Island Pacific Railroad Open link in new window
Welcome to the ISLAND PACIFIC RAILROAD website. The website deals with my G Scale garden railroad located in the gardens out back of the house and with my N Scale layout inside. Model railroads in Germany Ed Pick Open link in new window
A huge urban dead end terminus station on a small 6,6 x 3,3 feet model train table? And, in addition, a continuous run for long trains? Seems to be an almost impossible undertaking at first. But when I came up in 2008 with this idea, room space, time and budget were short. So how to proceed? Doing the BIG Bluff was the answer! See the track plan for more details. Here the pictures and the "Making of"!

The website gives information about model railroading in Germany (manufacturers, scales) and features a 1:160 scale layout of the Munich Central Station.
