Belfield Hall Estate Railway Open link in new window
The Belfield Hall Estate Railway was a model of an imaginary, 15 inch gauge estate railway, in 7mm scale. In building the model, a baseboard had to be constructed and what developed became a concept that interested many modellers faced with restricted working or storage area, or those who like to have a short-term project every now and then.

The BHER featured in the 'Railway Modeller', the main publication for the hobby and the 7mm Narrow gauge Association magazine. Both articles inspired further circular railways, one from East Anglia in 009 (which aslo featured in the 'Railway Modeller') and one in Canada. Latterly, the layout has been featured on Carl Arendts "Micro / Small Layouts for Model Railroads" web site.

Bethlehem Steel Home Layout Open link in new window
A web site about my home model railroad layout in HO and some photos of the real thing that I have taken over the years. My layout is dedicated to modeling the Bethlehem Steel plant at Bethlehem Pa. between 1965 and 1975 and the Philadelphia Bethlehem & New England and the Lehigh Valley railroads.

Over time I have added more pictures and information about the mill. It is my own small attempt at preserving the memory of this very important piece of American industrial history.

The Fall River Division is a prototype-based freelance representation of the BNSF Railway operating between the Midwest, and points north through the Pacific Northwest. The time frame is between 2004 and 2009, where unit coal, intermodal, Amtrak, and mixed freight trains are frequently seen on the Fall River Division.
