Oakhurst Railroad

The Oakhurst Railroad is an 8.5 ft by 11 ft HO scale model railroad with two levels connected by a helix, achieving a mainline run of 1.5 scale miles. The railroad begins in the central Sierra town of Oakhurst where it interchanges with a Southern Pacific branch line and winds its way to gold mining and logging areas and the Wawona hotel in Yosemite National Park Era is the 1920’s and features geared steam locomotives pulling log, ore, and passenger trains up steep 5% grades.
