Train Dispatcher 3 is a Windows based program which simulates a railroad Centralized Traffic Control system on a PC computer. You control the movement of trains by throwing switches and clearing signals.
Train Dispatchers are the air traffic controllers of the railroads. They control the movement of trains over large track territories. This game simulates the gargantuan routing tasks a real-life dispatcher faces daily. The problem is that trains must share a limited number of tracks. In some cases a single track must be shared by trains going in opposite directions. It is the job of the dispatcher to control the movement of trains over this limited resource, which can create one bottleneck after another.

The BCWRR is delighted to host Charlie's valve gear program on its web site. Charlie has put this program in the public domain but is not to be sold. Use at your own risk.
The programs can be used with the default settings to view operation and characteristics of any of the types of valve gear supported. They may also be used to check or change designs as all the dimensions in the gear can be modified.
