Rapido Trains Inc.
Scales: HO, N
Rapido Trains Inc. is a high-end manufacturer of model trains and accessories in HO, OO and N (North American 1:160 and British 1:148) scales. Our aim is to recreate the entire rail travel experience, from fully-detailed interiors and underframe equipment on our trains to fully-wired telephone poles for your model railroad.
The name RAPIDO was introduced by Canadian National in 1965 to headline the railway’s high-speed intercity passenger services. Until the mid-1980s, RAPIDO stood for fast schedules, frequent trains, and superb service. Today, we continue the RAPIDO idea with our state-of-the-art models and attention to detail.
Like CN’s RAPIDO, we aim to provide the highest quality and value. We are not related to Arnold Rapido, the European line of N-scale trains from the 1960s and 1970s.

Smoky Mountain Model Works
Scales: S, Sn3
Smoky Mountain Model Works, Inc. was formed in April 1990 as a part-time business producing custom-painted model railroad kits. In 1992, a line of styrene structure kits was introduced, followed in 1995 with cast urethane rolling stock kits. All of these offerings were in HO Scale. In July 2006, our model railroad product line changed to S scale exclusively, including narrow gauge.
