Fergus, Ontario, Canada - 2B in Trains is a hobby shop that focuses on model trains. We sell model railroad supplies from quality brands such as Atlas, Athearn, Walthers, Lionel, MTH, Digitrax and Kato as well as many others.
We have been in business with a retail outlet since 1998 but were in the business since 1988. This business began as a hobby many years before. Bob and his son Brent entered the hobby of model trains in 1972. After years of accumulating model trains of all scales, they began to sell their collection and realized that there was a strong market for trains but no hobby shops were providing a good supply of trains. In 1998, 2B in Trains launched their retail outlet. Along the way, Bob's wife, Gail, got involved and now is our resident expert on model buildings. In 2013, Brent's daughter Charlotte got involved making it three generations involved.
