Merrickville, ON - Lark Spur Line Ltd was started as a catalogue mail order business for model railroad products in 1978. Since the beginning the company has stressed product selection, competitive pricing and customer service. In 1988, the company expanded to include a storefront operation, and in 1993 moved into larger premises to serve its growing retail and mail order clientele. The company has long term relationships with many national and international clients, and has recently become heavily involved in Internet and auction sales.
Most model railroaders in Canada are aware of Lark Spur Line and its mail order and retail operations, as well as its extensive special order service. The company has become recognized as one of the largest specialized HO train shops in Canada. Lark Spur Line carries most North American HO products and in particular, representative products of Canadian railroads from Canadian manufacturers.
